Island Palagruža

Island Palagruža is the biggest one in the small group of islands, little islands and cliffs, distance between Palagruža and Lastova and Palagruža and Italy coast is same. Rocky coast has a difficult access. Island has no occupier besides family of lighthouse keeper. Lighthouse is located at the most high point of island 91.

Anchoring place for fishing boat is located at bay Stara Vlaka and Zalo. Surrounding of sea is rich fishing grounds of Blue Fish at Adriatic, it is also famous for fishing of White Fish and crawfish. In the south part of Island Galiju (5km at southeast) are small pebbly beaches. Palagruzsky shelf separate north shallow part of Adriatic from south deep part.
